Review consensus
Battlefield 6 is a confident return to the series’ large-scale multiplayer strengths, with punchy gunplay, satisfying destruction, clear class roles, and spectacular emergent battles. Its multiplayer is familiar rather than innovative, but the combination of Conquest, Breakthrough, Rush, Escalation, and flexible loadouts delivers consistently enjoyable team-based action. The campaign is the weak link: its predictable story, passive enemy AI, and uninspired missions fail to match the multiplayer’s energy. Launch maps also feel too compact and visually repetitive, limiting battlefield variety. Overall, Battlefield 6 restores the franchise’s identity without reaching the creativity or memorability of its best predecessors.
