Review consensus
Dispatch is a sharply written superhero workplace comedy that succeeds primarily through its endearing cast, confident humor, expressive animation, and excellent voice performances. Its hero-dispatching system adds a surprisingly engaging management layer, asking players to match team members to emergencies while handling upgrades, cooldowns, and workplace drama. However, the interactive-TV structure often leaves players watching rather than playing, and several choices have less narrative impact than the presentation suggests. Critics also found the romance routes forced and the hacking minigames simplistic. Even so, the strong character arcs, hopeful tone, and consistently entertaining eight-episode season make Dispatch a memorable narrative adventure.
