F1 23 is a strong, content-rich Formula 1 simulation that meaningfully improves on its predecessor through more forgiving and controllable handling, closer AI racing, polished presentation, and excellent DualSense support on PS5. The returning Braking Point story is more engaging and substantial, while the established Career and My Team modes remain the core attraction. F1 World adds a large progression-focused layer with challenges, upgrades, and online-oriented content, though its loot-style structure and optional monetization feel less natural in a serious racing game. The main weakness is that Career changes are limited and the story occasionally leans into melodrama, but the overall package is highly recommended for F1 fans.
