Review consensus
Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave is a sprawling and ambitious strategy RPG built around excellent turn-based battles, four compelling protagonists, varied maps, customizable builds, and strong presentation. Its multi-route story and dramatic payoffs largely succeed, while the setting, characters, and soundtrack add considerable appeal. However, the lengthy campaign is sometimes burdened by grinding, repetitive dungeons, busywork, management routines, and uneven pacing. The opening can feel under-challenging, and weaker systems such as Clash and some support interactions prevent it from being wholly consistent.
