Review consensus
HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush successfully expands Milestone’s toy-car racer into a colorful open world packed with four islands, hundreds of races, collectibles, customization, and varied vehicle classes. Its detailed die-cast cars, destructible environments, and accessible arcade handling provide plenty of playful appeal, especially for younger players and multiplayer groups. However, the move away from the intimate living-room track fantasy of Hot Wheels Unleashed costs the game some personality. Frequent loading screens, texture pop-in, uneven island design, and limited use of iconic Hot Wheels set pieces weaken the presentation. It is a substantial, entertaining arcade racer, but not a flawless evolution.
