Review consensus
WWE 2K25 is one of the strongest and most complete entries in the series, pairing satisfying, increasingly authentic in-ring action with an enormous roster and a wide range of substantial modes. Chain wrestling, intergender matches, Bloodline Rules, Underground bouts, and the revitalized Bloodline Showcase add welcome variety, while the creation suite remains exceptionally deep. However, The Island feels underdeveloped, online GM mode is limited, and both The Island and MyFaction lean heavily on grindy, pay-to-win virtual-currency systems. The result is an excellent wrestling simulation whose best features are undermined by aggressive monetization and some frustrating timed objectives.
