F1 24 remains a polished and enjoyable Formula One racing simulation, with responsive handling, strong presentation, updated circuits, and a substantially revamped Driver Career mode that lets players embody real-world and legendary drivers. However, the annualized structure is increasingly apparent. The story mode from F1 23 is absent, several modes feel underdeveloped, AI behavior can be frustrating, and launch issues—particularly wet-weather tire problems—undermine the otherwise convincing racing. Critics generally viewed it as a good standalone racer but a modest upgrade for recent series veterans, with its strongest improvements concentrated in career progression rather than the overall package.
