Review consensus
Denshattack! turns trains into skateboards for a colorful, high-speed arcade adventure that channels the spirit of the Dreamcast era. Its rail-grinding, trick-chaining mechanics become increasingly satisfying as new abilities, alternate routes, collectibles, challenges, races, and absurd boss encounters are introduced. The presentation is bold and energetic, supported by memorable music and a playful post-apocalyptic Japan setting. However, the controls are initially unintuitive, the demanding stages can feel overwhelming, and the narrative and side activities may add more padding than substance. Even so, the inventive premise and rewarding score-chasing make it a distinctive, replayable action game.
