Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is an enormous, character-driven RPG that substantially improves its predecessor’s turn-based combat with movement, positioning, knockbacks, tag attacks, and flexible job systems. Its sprawling Hawaii and Japan settings are packed with memorable side activities, including Dondoko Island and Sujimon battles, while Kiryu’s reflective journey delivers some of the series’ most emotional moments. However, the main story can feel overextended, unevenly paced, and burdened by weaker villains and excessive nostalgia. Despite those issues, the excellent cast, inventive combat, abundant optional content, and heartfelt treatment of Kiryu make Infinite Wealth a standout entry for longtime Like a Dragon fans.
